ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପାଖାପାଖି ଖବରକାଗଜରେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଇସ୍ତାହାର ସହ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ କଲି ଏ ଭଳି ନଭଶ୍ଚୁମ୍ବୀ ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକା ଗୁଡିକର ଇସ୍ତାହାର। ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରର ପଟିଆ ଅଞ୍ଚଳରେ ଏଇ ଭଳି ଆଉ 4-5 ଟି ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକା ଆସୁଛି I ଏଠି ସରକାରଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିବାକୁ କେହି ଅଛନ୍ତି କି ? କେତେ ଜାଗାରେ କେତେଟି ଘର ରହି ପାରିବ, ଭୂତଳ ଜଳ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପର୍ୟାପ୍ତ ହେବ କି ନାହିଁ ? ଏତେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଆବର୍ଜନାକୁ ସମ୍ଭାଳିବାକୁ ଏକ ସୀମିତ ଅଂଚଳ ସମର୍ଥ ହେବ କି ନାହିଁ ? ଏତେ ବଡ ବଡ ଅଟ୍ଟାଳିକାର ସୁଖ ସୁବିଧା ତ ବର୍ଣ୍ଣନା କଲେ, ସେଥିରେ vertical ଗାର୍ଡେନ ରହିବ କି ? ଏ ଭଳି ଦୁଇ କୋଟି ଦେଇ ଯିଏ ଘର କିଣିବ, ସେ ଘରେ 4 ଟି AC ମଧ୍ୟ ଲଗେଇବ I
ନିକଟ ଅତୀତରେ ଯେଉଁ ଜଳାଭାବ ବେଙ୍ଗାଲୁରୁ ଓ ପୁନେ ସହରରେ ଦେଖା ଦେଇଥିଲା, ସେଇ ସମଦଶା ଆମର ହେବ ନାହିଁ ତ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱରରେ ? ଆମେ ଖାଲି ପରିବେଶ ସୁରକ୍ଷା, ବିଶ୍ବ ତାପିକାରଣ ବିଷୟରେ ଅରଣ୍ୟ ରୋଦନ କରୁଥିବା ନା ସେଥିପ୍ରତି କୌଣସି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ମଧ୍ୟ ନେବା ?

In recent month along side the election ads of different parties, these were the most remarkable ads that came to my notice. Maybe I am overthinking, maybe I am not.
Not just this one, but similar 4 more high rise buildings are coming up in Patia area. What is the norm actually…how many such high rise buildings should be allowed in such a small distance? Is there any calculation for carbon emission? Recently, we have seen water crisis in metro cities like Bengaluru and Pune. We are seeing water-logging in cities due to unplanned sewerage system.
Is there any concept for vertical gardens? Is there any restrictions for the number of ACs to be installed per house?
Are we just shedding crocodile tears for environment, global warming etc or really into doing something? Is our government really visionary or all are after their own benefits!!
