A hell lot of researches…really are we heading un to something or it is a distraction from desirable researches??

#researchmusing
Last year I had written this …every researcher went behind COVID projects, papers, talks, webinars….problem of plenty everywhere….but that time also I declined doing anything such. Pandemics have lasted maximum for 2 years as per our past histories.
Why I felt I was right because, one of my student’s COVID research article was rejected by 3 journals recently citing that the topic is now not relevant, not of public importance or too many such types of articles….the message was loud and clear.
Meanwhile I was searching for what Karolinska Institute is doing…why they didn’t come up with a vaccine !The hub of research and not a single vaccine!
Research is like “Sadhana”…it should be ultra-focused, not deviating from original goal often. The light is at the end of tunnel, do not get deviated by specks of light coming from the sideways.
Similarly, researchers of our country should focus on what we want for our populace and not what the rest of the world is doing.
