ମହାବିଷୁବ ସଂକ୍ରାନ୍ତି

ମହାବିଷୁବ ସଂକ୍ରାନ୍ତି, ହନୁମାନ ଜୟନ୍ତୀ ଏବଂ ଓଡିଆ ନୂଆ ବର୍ଷର ଶୁଭ ଅବସରରେ ମୁଁ ମୋର ସମ୍ମାନିତ ପିତାଙ୍କ ଅନନ୍ୟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ “ଗୀତା ପଦ୍ୟାନୁବାଦ” ର ଇ-ଲଞ୍ଚର ସୁଖଦ ଅଧିକାର ପାଇଛି | ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକେ ବୁଝି ପାରିଲା ପରି ଶ୍ରୀମଦ ଭଗବଦ ଗୀତାର ଏହା ପଦ୍ୟ ରୂପରେ ଅନୁବାଦ |ଏଥିରେ ମୂଳ ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରର ମୌଳିକ ଭାବ ଅକ୍ଷୁଣ୍ଣ ରଖା ଯାଇଛି |

ଏହିପରି ଏକ ବହିର ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ କ’ଣ ଏବଂ ଗୀତାକୁ ପାଠ କରିବା ନୁହେଁ ବରଂ ଏହାକୁ କିପରି ବଞ୍ଚିବା ତା’ ଉପରେ ଆମେ ଏକ ସଂକ୍ଷିପ୍ତ ପରିଚୟ ଭିଡିଓ ରେକର୍ଡ କରିଛୁ | ଲାଲ୍ କପଡ଼ାରେ ଗୁଡ଼ାଇ ପୂଜାପାଠ ହେବାକୁ ଥିବା ଦେବତାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ରଖିବା ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତେ ଗୀତା ଆମ ଜୀବନରେ ଅଭ୍ୟାସ କରା ଗଲେ ହିଁ ସେଥିରେ ତାର ସାର୍ଥକତା ଅଛି | ଗୀତା କର୍ମଯୋଗୀଙ୍କୁ ଶିଖାଏ କିପରି କର୍ମ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଭଗବାନଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିହେବ, ଜ୍ଞାନ ଯୋଗୀଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ଭକ୍ତିଯୋଗୀଙ୍କୁ ଭକ୍ତିମାର୍ଗ ଶିଖାଏ | ଅର୍ଥାତ ଯେ କୌଣସି ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧା ମାର୍ଗ ରେ ଗଲେ ହେଁ ଭଗବଦ ଗୀତା ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହାୟ ହୋଇଥାଏ |ଜୀବନର ଏ ଭଳି କୌଣସି ସମସ୍ୟା ନାହିଁ ଯାହାର ସମାଧାନ ଏଥିରେ ମିଳିବ ନାହିଁ |

ସଂସ୍କୃତ ପାଇଁ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କର ଭୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଅମର ଶାସ୍ତ୍ରର ପ୍ରକୃତ ମୂଲ୍ୟରୁ ବିଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିଛି | ମୋ ବାପା ପ୍ରଫେସର ଲଲିତ ମୋହନ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ଜଣେ ଅବସରପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ମେକାନିକାଲ୍ ଇଞ୍ଜିନିୟରିଂର ପ୍ରଫେସର ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ଆଗ୍ରହ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଆଜି ଏହା ଇ-ଲଞ୍ଚ ହୋଇଥିବା ପୁସ୍ତକର ତୃତୀୟ ସଂସ୍କରଣ | ଯେହେତୁ ଆଜି ସମଗ୍ର ବିଶ୍ୱ ଡିଜିଟାଲ ଯୁଗ ଯୋଗୁଁ ଏକ ହୋଇ ପାରିଛି, ଆମେ ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକର ୱେବ୍ ଲଞ୍ଚ ପାଇଁ ପସନ୍ଦ କରିଛୁ ଯାହା ବିଶ୍ୱସ୍ତରରେ ସମସ୍ତ ଓଡିଆ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ପହଞ୍ଚି ପାରିବ |ୱେବ୍ସାଇଟ ରେ ଏକ କାଳ୍ପନିକ ପୁସ୍ତକ ପାଠ କଲା ପରି ଅନୁଭବ ହେବ|ତଥାପି ଅନେକ ପାଠକଙ୍କ ଅନୁରୋଧରେ ହାର୍ଡ କପି ମଧ୍ୟ ଛାପିବାର ଆମ୍ଭେ ବିଚାର କରିଛୁ |

ଏହି ପୁସ୍ତକରେ ଉଭୟ ସଂସ୍କୃତ ଏବଂ ଓଡିଆ ଶ୍ଲୋକ ସାମନା ସାମନି ପୃଷ୍ଠାରେ ଦିଆ ଯାଇଛି | ଶ୍ଲୋକଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟ ସଂଖ୍ୟା / ସେହି ଅଧ୍ୟାୟ ର ଶ୍ଳୋକ ସଂଖ୍ୟା / ସର୍ବମୋଟ 700 ଶ୍ଳୋକ ଭିତରେ ସେଇ ଶ୍ଳୋକ ର ସଂଖ୍ୟା , ଏହି ରୂପେ କ୍ରମାଙ୍କ ଦିଅ ଯାଇଛି । ଯଦି ଏହା 6/42/274, ତେବେ ଏହା ଷଷ୍ଠ ଅଧ୍ୟାୟର 42 ତମ ଶ୍ଲୋକ ଏବଂ ପୂରା ଗ୍ରନ୍ଥର 700 ଶ୍ଳୋକ ମଧ୍ୟରେ 274 ତମ ଶ୍ଲୋକ |

ଅନେକ ବାଧାବିଘ୍ନ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଏବଂ ଅନେକ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଶେଷରେ ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଦିଷ୍ଟ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଛି ଏବଂ ଏହା ତାଙ୍କ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟକୁ ସାକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ସଂସାର ରେ ଧର୍ମ ସଂସ୍ଥାପନ ପାଇଁ ଆଜି ଲୋକାର୍ପିତ କରାହେଲା |

On the auspicious occasion of MahaBishuva sankranti, Hanuman Jayanti and Odia New Year I take the pleasant privilege of e-launch of my revered father’s unique work “GitA Padyanubada”. It is exact translation of Srimad Bhagvad GitA for Odia people to understand the scripture lucidly.

We have recorded a short introduction video on the purpose of such a book and how to live GitA and not just read it. GiTa is to be practiced in our lives rather than wrapped in red cloth and put beside the deities to be worshipped. Yes, GitA teaches how to work and live peacefully to a Karmayogi, knowledge to Jnanayogis and devotion to Bhaktiyogis.

General fear for Sanskrit has alienated us from the true values of this immortal scripture. My father Prof Lalit Mohan acharya, a retd. Professor of Mechanical Engineering took interest in this work and today it is the 3rd edition of the book being e-launched finally. Since the world is going digital we preferred to go for web-launch which can outreach Odia people globally.

The book contains both Sanskrit and Odia shlokas side by side for easy referral. The shlokas are numbered as chapter number/ no. of shloka in the chapter/cumulative number of the shloka e.g. if it is 6/42/274, then it is 42nd shloka of 6th chapter and 274th shloka.

Amidst many hurdles and with many people’s co-operation finally the work of His has been culminated and it may serve His purpose.
