Good teachers are good storytellers

Well, this may intrigue many…are teachers entertainers instead of imparting knowledge!
A good storyteller needs to organise his/her thoughts before standing on the podium. They have to connect with the audience, do a visualization of the situation, descend to their level apart from beforehand building their own knowledge base. They will try to leave a take-home message, raise a few sparks in the listeners’ minds to think ahead, imagine things that were not told and entice them to dig the subject still further.
With enormous knowledge available on internet, teachers of today’s are more of facilitators of knowledge who will channelize the young minds to proper track, to critical thinking instead of making them rote-learn.
